I know, right? I figured more were needed. I wish more people knew about pansexuality and what makes it different from bisexuality. I hate having to tell people I'm bi, because that basically undermines a good portion of where I'm coming from when I tell people about it (which is usually in the context of 'what makes men and women so different' type conversations). So, all in all, pansexual visiblity = good.

I define pan as gender being a complete non-issue. Not letting gender get in the way of you loving someone. As far as the sex part of sexuality, doing who you please without regards to physical sexes and gender identities. Not saying that pansexual = sex demon, but rather that regardless of your other views on when to have sex, gender and physical sex is not an obstacle. Also, I'd say it differs from bisexuality in that bisexuality implies that gender is binary and static, whereas pansexuality implies that gender is a fluid spectrum.

But the definition varies from person to person. You may want to ask a few other people who identify as pansexual how they define it, too, if you haven't already. I wish you luck in finding your identity I would also like to remind you that not everyone fits under specific labels, especially with something as strange and broad as sexuality
